I hope you have had a great weekend!!!
As per my message earlier today the office will remain closed this week and I will review this on a week by week basis. Whilst I appreciate at this time it may not be what you would prefer. It is the best course of action to limit your exposure and keep the team healthy.
The most important thing to remember is to try and get yourself into a routine, try and do something before you start the day even if it is a short walk (with the distancing guidelines in mind), pretend you are going to the office by wearing similar clothes and try and have a designated work station or area, create a structure to your day and take regular breaks to clear your mind.
On a positive note the Government on Friday announced an outstanding selection of reliefs, benefits, grants and loans all aimed to keep workforce’s across the country employed. I will be looking at the finer details of these once they have been released and feeding anything notable into the team I expect this to be completed by Wednesday!
Again, I would like to reiterate the work last week was great and we all worked well as a team. I have spoken with some clients over the weekend along with some other business owners (please note this has been done over the telephone) and therefore I would expect and be prepared another busy week this week. Please continue to pull together, remember that communication is paramount and that work needs to be checked and double checked to ensure quality and consistency. I appreciate work is coming in thick and fast at the minute but, I would like to stress that we are not slipping back into old ways by being busy fools but it is at this time where we must help, support and be reactive to our clients as if we do not we will lose them once the dust all settles (which could be weeks away). Retention of clients needs to be at the forefront of our minds.
Over the weekend I have also started an account with Udemy and bought SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Social Media & Excel Training courses. In the coming weeks I will continue to buy courses so when appropriate the team can start going through the courses and seeing what is available. If anyone has any particular requests please send them over and I will look into what training courses are available or free free to look on the website and send them across.
All non essential business has now been stopped in Italy and unless the British people abide by the measures our government has put in place they I imagine it will be the same and this is something we do not want. I would like to reiterate how important the steps, actions and guidelines are which the Government have put in place and ask you all to abide by them.
